Ink & Brunch: With Guest Tattooist Clorissa Penner

Celebrate the long weekend and the start of the season with us at the Taproom on May 18th for “Ink & Brunch!” Get inked with 30-minute pop-up tattoos by the talented Clorissa Penner, enjoy a delicious brunch by Guest Chef Kevin Funk, and later, enjoy the mouthwatering offerings from the Superior Smash Food Truck. It's the perfect way to kick off the long weekend, whether you're sticking close to home or looking for something exciting to do!

9AM - 6PM - 30 MINUTE FLASH TATTOO SESSIONS

Choose from Clorissa's Flash board, with original designs in fine line black and shading. From minimalist to script and Disney/Harry Potter themes, there's something for everyone!

 

Deposit and reservation are required to secure your session!
Please note, alcohol consumption is not permitted before tattoo sessions.

10AM - 2PM BRUNCH

Join us for our debut brunch experience with Guest Chef Kevin Funk from 10 am to 2 pm. Don’t miss out on the chance to try our refreshing fresh pressed orange cider mimosas alongside Chef Kev’s delicious menu:

  • Eggs Benedict $15: English muffin | bacon | eggs | hollandaise | w/ a side of hash browns

  • French Toast $14: Classic with whipped cream OR fresh fruit OR Bacon and Maple

2PM - 8PM SUPERIOR SMASH FOOD TRUCK

Satisfy your cravings with the Superior Smash food truck at the Taproom from 2pm - 8pm.

Chef Kevin Funk, guided by his late grandmother's kitchen wisdom, has left an indelible mark on Manitoba's culinary landscape. With accolades from provincial awards and notable roles like at the Olive Tree Restaurant in 2015, Kev's dedication to his craft shines through in every dish. Today, he channels his culinary passion into intimate pop-up dinners and bespoke private events while finding inspiration at Hidden Haven Homestead, where he and his family live and learn from the land, documenting their journey along the way!
